KTM radiator guards & air box??

Though radiator guards would be a good idea, but after plugging off the radiators with snow, and being able to bang the snow and ice out of there. Not so sure anymore?

And what are you guys doing for air filter that's working? Did the Outerwears inside the airbox with nothing else done, and it worked up to 8inch deep, but not for 2feet.

What bike is it?

Before the new TSS intake setups my crew is running, for ktms, put the prefilter on then just leave the side door off and ride, snow goes in and falls right back out. works really well.

Running a CMX, which we lobed off the bottom of the airbox drainhole to get the kit to fit.

After messing with it in the shop, looks like the track is blowing snow up through my now oversized drainhole. Maybe we lobed too much, but looks like plugging that hole is a starting place if I keep the stock airbox.

I took everything off the front of the rads. Then the heat just melts it and there is nowhere to re-freeze.

I stuck a 6" x 6" Frogskinz vent cover on one of my radiator guards. It does a great job of keeping about half of one rad always in the direct flow of air. I've been thinking about sticking one on the other side too, but the temp has been fine.
