KTM Air temp Sensor location with Pictures

I am sorry if this has been covered guys. I am installing my Timbersled kit on my 18 KTM 450 SXF and I am wonder where to place the air temp sensor. I have been told to tuck it inder the Pod filter cover and zip tie around the filter or to put it under the seat. I have pictures of both locations and wondering what others are doing or what the pros and cons are of each.

Thanks!!!

well all i know is we have 4 ktm 500s with the timber sled intake, not saying there isn't other options of course . the bikes run great, closer to the air going in the throttle body would be better. hope that helps

The PST Intake boot is actually shorter than the Timbersled intake and the actual Pod portion is two half times the size of the Timbersled Pod. I don't think there will be an issue getting air.

Does anyone else have any suggestion on this?

Looks like you got it in the right place. I have never noticed a difference in performance putting it there vs another location.
