hows the snow in that area? base? deep? relative to previos seasons?

Combination of Good Bad & Ugly not as good as last year’s snow, base is decent sure could use some more powder. Some areas it's great others not so depends what your doing but over all Kootenay’s you can’t go wrong.

Few Pic’s from last weekends Meteor Mine Hill Climb Feb 9th chute at the top was getting into the rocks snow conditions were not the best but overall had great time! Cam Hicks in the 1000cc Class took it with a 32.55 on his Rev XP

Dan did not make it out, Brian had the sled up for a little show and shine.

Anyone who wants to ride the most disgustingly deep pow we'll get in 09 needs to get out around Nelson tommorow. Just got back from riding up giveout/gold creek area and it was f'in unreal. Needed a snorkel to do downhill decents.

hey guys whats that area on the top of the paulson summit called? drove through that area today travelling saw some trucks up there parked, guys out ridin somewhere that place looks like some awesome ridin to be had...

That's the 24mile snowmobile area looked after by the West Kootenay Snogoers from Rossland. Mostly flat land riding, trail riding. Good for the beginner and family riders.
