So I shouldnt tell you how deep it actually is here in Alaska....has been a really good season thus far...sorry guys, just moved back up this summer after being in Colorado the last 10yrs. I feel your pain 
Not advocating living in AK, but this place is awesome....coming from the guy who works on the slope and it is -30 outside right now
