Klotz TCW3 vs BRP Blend

So I'm out of BRP blend, the warranty on my RT expires in a week, and I have 2 gallons of Klotz oil on hand. The BRP dealer says that the only oil that works in these SDI motors is BRP blend; and I had to use it until my warranty expired or they wouldn't cover the engine. I've ran Klotz TCW3 oil in 3 other sleds with no issues, I know of other guys that are running BRP Syn or Amsoil in their RT's. Is there any reason I shouldn't run Klotz oil in this sled?

I've been runni Amsoil but I have put 2 motrs in, Due to my errors, but the new motor will be getting to sip on Kotz, My 800 does, and my jetski does. They seem to like it.

If Any Mfgr says that you specifically have to use their fluids, filters etc... for warranty to be valid then the mfgr MUST supply said items until warranty is out of date.

I don't know of any mgfr that supplies the purchaser with consumable items.

Check your desired substitute and see if it meets the same requirements, I wouldn't use chainsaw pre mix in the tank for a substitute.........

And if you read a little wurther into the label you will see that Klotz meets all the specs doo calls for ....TCW3 cert is pretty anchient and was ment for outboard motors....nonetheless it's a pretty easy certification to meet so pretty much any 2-stroke oil sold today is going to be TCW3.... but read further and you will see it also meets the JASO, ASTM and API certs that doo calls for... The ashless vs low ash oil part....I don't really agree with, event though ski doo says to never run an ashless oil (which Klotz is), I've never had any problems running Klotz over the past 3 seasons in my rev.

Klotz

I have run klotz for the last 15 years, no problems except my 03 rev 600 ho piece of $hit, I blew that up 5 times, wasn't oil! IT WAS A BIG LEMON MADE BY BRP!! I never foul plugs! I dont see why sdi would matter as the oils is injected the same as any other sled out there. I have heard several people threatened with this from their dealer, its a bunch of bull $hit. Klotz exceeds all manufacturers oil requirements. You can actually turn your oil pump down with this oil.

Klotz may say it's ashless but it meets the API TC low ash cert. which BRP says run an ashless or API TC.

And if your dealer said YOU HAVE TO RUN BRP OIL to not void your warranty you could probably sew him cause there was a law passed that says that can't do that unless they GIVE you the oil.

Do your buddies that ride behind you a favor and stop buying that over priced smelly BRP chet and run the Klotz.

Any special instructions to make the switch to Klotz? How about cheapest spot you've found to buy it?

I just let my oil get to to 1/4, then filled it up with the Klotz. It's about $50.00CND/gallon, so I'm looking for a US dealer that has reasonable shipping costs.
