Klim or HMK

My feet sweat so I like the Klim boots with the gore-tex. I've had comfier boots but usually with the bulkier feel in the foot-wells. I don't like the feeling of getting my foot hung during a get-off and the Klim and Columbia boots I've had fit my footwells better than HMK's. I had some Burton's that had awesome ankle support but the dubbed off toes for snowboarding and the stiffness caused me to fumble my side to side running board switching a lot.

Have tried hmk, cold wave ,reimia yamaha gear , polaris goretex , RU Outside and klim blows it all away. Boots are by far the most comfortable boots I have ever rode in.

Save your money, go to the local snowboard shop and buy your gear there. Its alot cheaper and works just as good if not better!

X2!!!

Here is a picture of my klims after half a season. Been using a 50 dollar pair of airwalk snowboard boots all season and they still look like new. Just as warm and dry, and more comfortable (not as bulky).

Sorry if you guys are tired of hearing me whine about my klim boots. I just think people should know what they are getting, and how poorly klim stands behind it, for the money they are spending.

I bought a set of HMK Pro Boas this year. I find them very comfortable, lots of support and warm. The only thing that chokes me is my feet get wet, and I have sprayed them with waterproofing spray as well. Don't really like the thought of putting a plastic bag over the inner boot but seems like the moisture just pours in. Not very good for a boot of this price, IMO.

I have HMK stuff, just started wearing it this season...love it! bought the Ascent Jacket, will probably get the pants in the fall at haydays. As far as boots, I have had a pair of castles for 2-3 years, no problems, but I don't get sweaty feet like some guys! ;)

Thanks for the input - I really appreciate it. I have a bunch of Klim, but noticed HMK is a little cheaper. I bought a nice HMK jacket for the spring days when my big coat is just way too hot. I always check out both booths at the Hill Climbs too.

We went riding yesterday and I was warm & dry all day. It was overcast and a little snowy. Typically, I have the coldest feet on the planet and the adrenaline boots kept them warm and dry. I use smartwool and my feet do not sweat. BTW the pow was nice too (1 1/2').

Again thanks - snow dance, snow dance, snow dance. :D
