Klim or HMK boots ???

Need to upgrade boots and was wondering if anyone has any input on either one of these boots???

Read this thread: I bought the lace ups, same boot with out cable system. BTW the laces pull super easy not like trying to lace up a ski boot

There is a pair of HMK pro boa focus size 11 lightly used for a great price in the swapmeet section worth looking at, nice guy to deal with as well.

Btw, ran across a pair of the voyagers that you bought last week at a raffle, VERY well built & a great mix of "snowboard" style & soft boot style. REALLY impressed with those boots, gonna pick up a pair of them next.

There is a pair of HMK pro boa focus size 11 lightly used for a great price in the swapmeet section worth looking at, nice guy to deal with as well.

That sounds good but I would have to hack off a toe or two so they would fit. Need a 11 1/2 or 12.

They run small, I went 1 full size larger with thin/med ultimax socks.

finally bite the bullet and bought some HMK pro boa focus this year, WOW awesome boot, never wet, nice a firm like a motocross boot, can take a hit without feeling a thing, and the boa system............ohh my, just awesome, one handed lace up

I got a pair of HMK Highmark Pro BOA's earlier this season and wasn't thrilled with them. (no fault of HMK by any means) The boots were not designed to be waterproof and so the first few rides my feet got wet, talked to the HMK dealer because we believed the boots to be defective. They informed us the boots were not designed to be waterproof but they would gladly exchange the used boots for a new pair as long as we paid the difference.

So they sent us a pair of Team BOA Focus boots and we paid the difference. I have to say I cannot be any happier with the boots. Feet stay warm and dry, the BOA system is awesome as you can adjust how tight the boot is around your foot, and the upper portion of the boot individually. The boots never loosen up in an all day ride, or become untied. They are definitely on the stiffer side like a snowboard boot but are still very comfortable to walk around in and offer tons of support.

HMK has amazing customer service. Can't praise them enough from my experience.
