KLIM GEAR.....my experience

I just wanted to tell everyone my experience with Klim Gear. There is always a lot of HMmming and Haaaaing about prices you spend on their gear. I did a lot of that myself before finally deciding to jump on the band wagon.

I have a pair of Freeride Klim pants that I have had since Christmas of 06' so 2 seasons of riding on them. Well I went out elk hunting with my bro's in the snow and ended up getting wet through the seat of the pants and in the crotch area. Soon as I got home I phoned up Klim and told them of my situation to which they replied send them in and we'll inspect them and get you taken care of..........

I finally was going to put their "Lifetime" warranty to the test! My pants were in great condition...no tears, holes, etc. I sent my pants to them on the 10th and I just got my NEW pair in the mail today. 5 day turnaround and they sent me THIS YEARS BRAND NEW pants. :D

So they have a customer for life.........There gear is exactly what they say, GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRY. An outstanding company and experience. This just re-affirmed to me that spending the money was well worth it. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Thank you KLIM

Happy Customer

Thanks for the great post. I just bought a valdez parka, it's nice to know I will be treated fairly if I need repairs. As for you in canada, I live in Alaska and we get gouged on shipping as well, sorry for your luck, but I am in the same boat as I choose to live where I do. However costly the shipping may be, it's far cheaper than new klim gear, I don't care where you live.
Again, thanks for the post.

110%

thats is what I think about it. I cant thing of any bad things about my gear this stuff rocks. worn it for a couple years its all good!!!! the only down side is the price but if you only have to buy it every couple of year I can b1tch to much a great product made to last. IMO:D:):D:):D:):D:):D

Sent back a pair of boots that my XP floorboards chewed the ever living crap out of, but they started getting my feet wet. They sent me a brand new pair in the box, tags still on them. Then 1 week later I won the Valdez Parka from thier online contest. KLIM ROCKS!!!!!

Deaner

Their boots and gloves are absolute junk though. I wish they would stand behind this stuff the same.

Thats funny because I too bought a set of boots and after one full season of riding, two of the eyelets came apart. Called them and got a RO, sent them back and had a brand new pair within 2 weeks. These boots have been great, warm, dry and a far cry from JUNK!

Well good for you stud. Mine were junk. Ruined after one season (probably 12-15 days sledding. I asked about warranty and they told me it was normal wear and tear because of the running boards. What a joke. A high end sledding boot that cant take SLED running boards. And I wasnt kicking the **** out of my running boards. Just normal aggressive riding.

I have had my coat and bibs for a few years. I ride hard and put on a lot of miles. Yeah I complained a bit about the price at first, but after the first ride I was sold. My gear was hefed and I sent it in. New gear in less then four days, no questions asked. Now you tell me Cman, your saying you won't pay $100 shipping for $600.00 of new gear? Get off it man, that company rocks because of their service and product. Tell me of any other company that will do that? Take your old stuff and give you brand new stuff for no charge or just shipping.

Cman:
You have to pay the shipping because it has to go through customs etc. and that is not a warranty issue. BTW, I have shipped many times to Canada and it has never been over $100.00. Shipped a Boss seat from my old sled and it was about $70.00.

Shipping is not the point. The point is Klim takes care of its customers and I can't believe people are tired of hearing about it, go get yourself some Klim gear and you will feel like you need to tell everyone how good it is. Don't give your opinoin unless you have their gear and have dealt with them directly.

Anyone who is thinking of getting Klim gear, do it!!!

And no I don't work for Klim or a shop that sells Klim.
