Klim F4 helmet reviews

I am looking for some feedback from anyone who wears the Klim helmet. Fit, Air flow, Fogging, anyone wearing it for ATV's?

I've had great luck with mine so far, bought it last fall and used all season, it keeps your head nice and cool, vs. others I've had. The only bad part it the plastic vents on the top crack easily, I cracked one of the plastic vents on a tree. But other then that its been a great helmet! Just watch out for them darn trees that jump out in front of you!

I use mine for summer dirt bike action. So far 90* is all I have seen with it. I am liking it so far. Does keep the noodle a bit cooler, a little sweat or water on dome makes it chilly at speeds.........LOL

I really like how it fits, and the ventilation.

It does seam to ride a bit higher on your head then other helmets. At least it looks that way. But they are light and fit nice.

I would definitely get another one if I had to choose.

How do the sizes run. I thought that i had heard they either ran small or larger than normal.

If I remember right they run a bit small. I know when I got mine I had to install the thinner cheek pads and it was pretty snug for the first couple hours. But it fits great now.

I love mine, felt weird when I tried it on because it feels like it rides high but after you wear it you don't notice it anymore. I wear mine in the dunes and sledding. no problems here. I have broke one fin off but you can get replacements from klim. and watch ebay and other places you should not have to pay even close to retail.

I bought one at the beginning of May and I absolutly love the thing. It is very light on your head. No more whiplash. The only reason I got it was because I paid 150 for it on closeout. For full retail I dont think it is worth the money. Shop around.

u got a head like peter griffin or what??? jk. Did you ever ride with it around here on one of those -20*F days?

With the winter liner in the helmet I have never had it get cold. Even at -20f. But with the summer liner on a cool day, 32f or so, if you sweat your head will get cold down the trail.

i got a fat face you can say.. haha it worked good, wish the mouth peace was farther away. Just to tight gave me a headache. The 2xl is like a xl in other sizes IMO

Yeah I usually wear a medium and had to get a large

and yes the vents break off but only one so far on the moto. You don't realize how much cooling affect you get from the helmet until you accidentally wear the summer lining during the winter, brrrr. Swap it out and your great.

I tried an XL on a few weeks ago and I thought an it was rather tight in the cheek area(an I don't have a Peter Griffin head). I usually fit perfectly in an XL and think a 2XL would fit me better but of course they didn't have one to try out. Flying snow you have a PM!

pricey, but great quality. Klim always seems to run small in size, for eveything imo. other helmets i wear 1 size smaller

the ventilation is awesome, so good i havent had tried wearing it in the snow. as for desert riding its one of the best. liners are washable and very wicky.

Mine works great, rides a little high up that was mentioned before, and I find it does not fit alot of goggles, other than that I have been impressed, especially with how light it is.

For the guys having trouble with squished cheeks, the cheekpads come in different sizes, 15mm, 20mm, and 25mm and it makes a big difference, get some smaller cheekpads!

TTT - Considering buying one of these for winter use...some questions if I may:

- with the winter liner in does it still keep your melon sweat free? or will a std MX helmet work the same at this point?
- I read on off road forums that the vents break easy...
- do Scott goggles work with them?
- is this melon cover really worth it?

Thanks :beer;
