Having a battery on the side of your helmet connected to your goggles with a cord is nothing new, exciting. Clanking on your helmet, cord getting caught in branches. No thanks, had the 509's Ignite for years and have a decent list of things I did not like about that set-up.

I’m curious about the battery life in cold “-20 to -30F)

The remote cord needs a coiled section for stretch.

My CKX 210’s work great but they can eat a battery in 2 hours.

Looks pretty sweet

the cable they show in that photo is NOT what they are actually offering as the Acessory cable.
The final one DOES have a COILED section.

I am trying to pull what few strings I have to get my hands on a pair of these before the official release date of October 8th.
Either way, I will buy a pair at the first opportunity and then get them on here for a real hands on review.

Hopefully the battery claim is real.

My CKX battery lasts 10 hours if it’s 20*F.

It’s 4x the size of that klim one.

Agreed.
There are Several Features on these that "Look" like they will beat my current 509 Ignites.

Auxiliary External Power
Remote Power Control
MUCH Beefier power cable connector with a Band Stabilizer.

I want to ask the powers that be WHY they chose NO internal Fans??
Fans don’t work.

It brings in cold air which freezes humidity.

Plus it dries your eyeballs.

My CKX goggles get warm enough i feel it on my face. (It keeps my glasses defogged)

509 ignites do nothing for my glasses.

Get the Tempest and be done with all the batteries strapped to helmet, mode settings. Put them on and forget about it. No battery issues either
