I recently got a set of heads for a 900 king cat with 0.10 machined off of them. My king cat 900efi motor is pretty much stock except for a mhrp can. It runs really good. But I was thinking of switching to this new head, because lower tolerance=more HP. My question is can i still run pump gas? Is there anything else I would have to do to make the switch or just change them?
Thanks,
Wes

I would think u could get away with 93 pump gas. Just depends mostly on what altitude u ride at. I've shaved 0.015 off many of my heads and it gets them to about where they r at sea level as far as compression goes. Put them on ur sled and do compression check, that will tell u where ur really at and check ur squish. I think it will be fine with only 0.010 cut off though. GOOD LUCK!
