Kissed a tree...or 2

As the title says ya it was an epic bluebird day yesterday...kissed a couple trees tho. Front bumper is toast, bars are cooked to skis and a bent a arm.
Polaris elite bumper is 250 ish just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions

Saw the polaris ultimate bumper for $115 on ebay. I am going to give that a shot, I could replace that after a tree for the price of any other companies.

check your bumper mount tabs, make sure they aren't broke. with how weak they are, I just run stock front bumpers. haven't had to replaced it yet but if I do it will get another stocker.

This whole sled i weak lol but i love it. A arms are expensive tho.

So instead of starting a new thread ill ask has anyone attempted to bed the lower arm straight again? Or is there a direct replacement for just the bottoms? I hear there was and searched but cant seem to find them...Thanks again

Vohk has direct replacements for the bottom only, or at least they did have them.

As for straightening the a arm, I successfully did on one side, but it didn't last very long after. maybe with the braces you can buy it would work.

I went with a skins light weight front bumper, which also reinforces the stock tabs, isn't much heavier than stock, and increases protection for the front of the side panels a bit.

I hit a lot of trees.....

its called target fixation, quit looking at the trees, look at the hole you want to go through

Lol this is true, but it was one of them tight treed side hill climbs and i had to whip it from left side hill to straight up but keep the speed....i wasn't looking at the tree, it was just to dam tight if it was only softer snow i woulda made it. Thanks for the replies i had a pm for some take offs at a decent price.....still think i should just go aftermarket

Bumper mount fix

I make them and stock them? $35 ea.
I make two kinds one to replace the broken tab and one to support the tab before it breaks.
Most guys are buying the one to fix the broken tab and one to prevent the other from breaking.
I use Paypal and ship same day.

Bash it back into shape, hose clamp some angle iron to the bumper and arm and do it all again tomorrow.

Reflections from the past.
