John, it is a full scale blizzard here right now. Suppose to get up to 14 inches of new on the Hill. We are riding early in the week.

John,
I love my M7, it will take me anywhere I want to go. The only problem is that the 05's ride on the trail was pretty stiff and even with all the goodies I've done it still is tough on this old back. Even the short ride I took on Mike's SnoPro was noticably smoother. Since they dont make the M7 anymore I've got no choice but the 8. (It's only another 5 hp anyway)
Hey, I've got one more year before I have to "start" to slow down....

I may take a Demo ride on a newer one next week but am looking at the LE 153. The SnoPro is white and I want black, I've ridden black for 40 years and the straight M8 only has the Fox shocks on the rear. We will see.

It is snowing here today and already has 6 inches of new at the Hill. April will be gooood.

Going up tomorrow any one else? Looks to be about 6+" Should be pretty good. These days got to get to theSnow before it gets to warm and sets up.

We have 6 or 8 going up tomorrow. Talked to a friend who lives up by Forrest Green at three oclock he said he had a foot at that time and it snowed pretty hard till 8 or 9 oclock here. Still lightly snowing. I live back toward the logging creek side and have a good 6 to 8 inches in the yard with drifts up to two feet. Should be good.:D:D:D

Cat

Hey Smooth remember that comment about me needing a Cat? Was wondering if I could get clutch advice from Suzzy if I bought one.:beer;:beer;:beer; Was looking at that post about the 28 hour drive. Then I found Suzzy. BTW I order the new XP today.

I ordered a 800 XP Summit X package black 154. Electric start and second year warranty on engine. They are giving me $3200 so it will be $7200 and my sled. I have till Oct to sell my sled. I will sell the boss seat and Simmons skis separate. Extra belt and plugs but no cover so I will sell my ZX cover also and won't give it to them. I have a ton of ZX parts if you know of anyone looking for anything. They say my sled is worth $4100 without the electric start. I can put 200 more miles on it but I won't get that unless we get a big spring blast.

Sounds good, but I think if you try hard enoulgh you could put the 200 miles on your old one.

How did you trip to Idaho? go?

Utah and I leave tomorrow and back Friday. Will let you know how the vehicle runs when we get home. Staying the night in Idaho.

Uh-oh, he's changed his name to BlackSummit. Now we are in trouble.

Went up yesterday to ride a 08 SnoPro (in a snowstorm, would you believe?). It has more power than I would ever need but does ride somewhat better. Sure hate to part with the M7 but will see what kind of trade I will get on a 09. (black of course)
Fuzz

I think that Gary changed him name too soon. If Fuzz gets a M8, he should have been "CatchasingBlackSummit":)

On another note, dad went bionic yesterday.

**** I been cat chasing ever since I met Fuzz. He could ride a Kitty Cat and I can't keep up. New sled new name. I'll name her the Black Ghost that way when I disappear in those tree wells I will be living up to her name.

We're heading up this morning at 7 AM to beat the mush. Will be trying to get up on Baldy and get some good pics, Ken.

If I get the parts put on my machines, we will go up Sunday. I'd like to run the loop we did with John only shorten it up to do some exploring. ??

Looks like Dick tried to groom it up good as this will probably be the last time this year. Somebody dug out the gate to the parking lot, the FS dipshists are probably going to close us out after this weekend.

Speaking of Kitty Cats, here is a picture of my first Cat ride. :p

Did a 70 miler on Sunday. Only about half dozen rigs in the parking lot. Kathy did her annual Weatherwax climb. Visited some old favorites and found a couple of new ones. Did some "water skipping" back at the parking lot.
Snow is getting "mooshy" in places with the warm temps and sunshine but still fun.

I was up there last weekend, snow was ok until about 1 pm then it got soupy. I think its the first time I've ridden with a t-shirt, got sunburned pretty bad. Snow forecasted for this week.

Has anyone been up since this last snow storm? I was in great falls Sat. and Sunday and they got dumped on so i imagine the mountains got it even more. And can you still ride up there this time of year?

According to the Snotel they only got a few inches at the Hill. Plan on going up probably on the weekend to check it out. Still lots of snow.
