Kinda Quiet 'round here...........

rode today !

Come on guys, I rode today.. The Peak to Peak highway on my VStorm 1000 in a T shirt, leather jacket & jeans! At least I saw some snow! Thanks Ski Breeze for the d-8 engine head. Thats a great garage you have!

PJ - if you'd lock more threads, maybe the puddle jumper, pea-shooter servers would have some cycles freed up!!!
After all they've not gotta carry the load of 129,222,323,423,423,2342,343,453,645,747,265 new forums.

;-)

MD.

Hint...just kidding!!

They are getting new servers, I know that for a fact. There is other stuff going on too but I don't know the details. Just keep watching Christopher's threads is all I can say.

So would that be 12 hours straight at 100 mph or just 24 hours non-stop at 50mph or perhaps 18 hours at 66mph with out a break? :rolleyes:

Man, we need SNOW bad so we can get back to B.S.ing about sledding.:beer;

took me about 17 hours to do the 1200 miles and about 14 to do 1000....sometimes running a sustained 100+ mph on the interstate, (hit 120 for a bit on hy 85 out of N.Dakota)...depending on traffic and visibility...gas and go, no messin around, eatin power bars....but mostly i ride pretty conservatively. and generally stay within 10 mph of limit.

You've got bigger stones than me. :beer;120 on a Goldwing would scare the crap out of me. I've got plenty of time in the triple digit range on my Duke and my CBR but they were made for it. 6 hours is about my limit at those speeds.
Did some 2 to 3 hundred mile club races on the track years ago and I was glad to get off the bike at the end.

Now if we could get this site to go a little faster...........

ttt :face-icon-small-ton

you know it's slow when the last post was a half day ago! weather boycott in effect.

I was able to visit the IT data center of Snowest. Cable management is superb!! I'm thinking 24k Ram, 1m hard drives and high speed dial up. Doo, we should be envious of this. I am quiting the IT world and moving on to medical chronic pain dispensaries. Peace out brothers.

I've been using the old Atari 800 since it is the only computer I have that can render pages right about as fast as Snowest's servers can return them.
