Kill Switch

If you have a kawasaki or KTM dealer you might check there price kaw probably 2001 kdx 200 switch or current ktm or yz or dr or cr or etc etc

Of all the things that would be truely useful on my sled, this would be last thing I would spend any money on. It's not needed, and ugly to boot. Just saying. No disrespect intended.... this is plain nutts!

his other ride is a harley,, enough said,,, FUNCTION BEFORE STYLE

Redneck alert = We've been using wide, short rubber bands since the 90's - from broccoli stalks at the grocery. Two loops, lasts at least a season. Lotsa colors. Eat'in the broc is up to you.

Now, I've always wondered if anyone has tried a 'bull' band. On the kill switch, not the rider. Another way to define riding like a Sally...

You are obviously a child. Buy crap you don't need if you want. I'm all about fixing problems, but everyone I know who rides Polaris sleds have resovled this kill switch issue without spending more the a few cents and 5 minutes.
Your other ride has training wheels. Nuff said!!

Sorry for the late response. The o-ring measures 1" outer diameter, 3/4" inner diameter, and 1/8" thick. Good luck breaking one of these unless you store your sled in the sun year round! Kill switch is still operable but only if you pressure it - exactly like the $20 aftermarket switch.

Have FUN!

That's the way to go. Thanks gman

i have to agree with freak485... after riding all year in tight trees running through thick branches and whatever else.. i cant count on one hand the number of times the damn kill switch went down and ruined my momentum. im buying aftermarket getting it out of the throttle block and turning it facing downwards below my handlebars..
