It’s 2 collars jammed together. Here's the collar i was talking aboutto adjust preload, it doesnt turn even with the skis lifted. Theres no set screw that I can see on the ring
What are you smoking? There is an alan set screw keeping the collar from turning. Its fairly concealed, but it’s there!

Just messing with ya.I stand corrected master one! After a closer look, you’re right, its a jamb nut.
I was literally adjusting my buddy’s front Khaos shock hours before commenting snd clearly the front is different than the skid shock.

Nevermind, answered above. Here's the collar i was talking aboutto adjust preload, it doesnt turn even with the skis lifted. Theres no set screw that I can see on the ring
That’s a bit weird. The fts had the set screw but the rts turned fine on mine. What I did notice with my Khaos is the track shock preload lengths were way off from where Polaris said they spec’d them. Front one doesn’t even go to Polaris max length spec unless you include the top collar in the measurement, which is an odd choice. Rear one was almost entirely backed off.Got it loose. Thanks!
The rts collar doesn't wanna spin much either. Even with the sled lifted without weight on the shock. I couldn't find a set screw or anything holding it from spinning.
