Khaos shock on pro

I did last year. I put a Khaos shock on my 20 pro 163. I also put the Khaos limiter strap at the same time. It livened it up a bit but not Khaos playful. I really didn't know what to expect anyway, as I have never rode a Khaos. I put 1000 miles on it last season, no issues or drawbacks I found, just a little more playful. I could go through trees and still climb good without the front end coming up on me. Swapped it over this past fall to full Khaos rails from Ice Age. Definitely more playful and fun but I now have to be on my toes when climbing or technical trees. Front end is really lite now. I have a Khaos fts and limiter strap if you're interested in trying it. Let me know. Hope this helps.

Have it on my 22 boost. Much more playful in the front end. Crank up the spring FTS preload to adjust how playful you want it to be.
Only issue I’ve had is not getting up on the snow quite as well in really deep heavy snow but that’s to be expected.
Worth it if you find the front end of the pro to be too planted, not quite khaos squirrelly but a nice middle ground I find

Has anyone done this with a FTS? Changing nothing else just putting that shock on a stock pro skid.

Any issues or draw backs?

Thanks
If you have velocities on your pro and the 2.75 track with the factory anti stab you can get away with running a khaos limiter strap, some of the shocks came with the 1/4” spacer and some didnt. Best bet is to pull your fts and measure it, if the center to center fully extended is 12” then its stock khaos length, if its 11.75” then its pro length
