Kevco's Sled and Trailer Ripped Off!

No tongue lock it was in a fenced junk yard and in a really tight spot. Whoever snatched worked to get it out.
Here is a list of my aftermarket goodies in case anyone notices them.
Holz front end with spindles
SLP pipe and intake
Those nifty poo bags under the seat and on the handlebars
Walker shocks
and one bad *** polished tunnel Thanks Dunner!

Kev, I'll keep an eye open over here. If we find the sack of crap, I'll save the little pieces for ya! Send me a flyer on it and I'll get it to all my customers throughout the pacific northwest. The bastage tries to buy a belt and he'll be busted!!!!

Naw on the word Andy I dont reckon I'll see any of it. Thanks Ryan you can just bury them little pieces if ya would please.

Kevco-

What size are you for gear? I have a pretty healthy stockpile of extra stuff...

We should have some nice Klim and Fly stuff in the raffle at the Brewvies party too

Trailer theft problems not just in Utah

I've just gotten back from 3 weeks in England.

Everywhere I look there trailers, motor homes, motorcycles, are all chained up.

Most trailers and motor homes have boots over the wheels. My boy carries a huge, theft proof chain and lock anytime he plans on parking either the GSXR or Supermoto anywhere but inside his locked garage.

Eastern European's steal everything and have it on a boat in a couple of hours. Goodbye England... Hello Russia...

Using tongue locks, wheel boots, chains, removing the wheels all together and storing them elsewhere are common practice to make it someone else's stuff that gets ripped off.

If the trailer was locked, and the thief wasn't someone who worked at the yard, the thief was prob after the trailer and now doesn't have a clue what to do with the sleds...

I've also been thinking... do you ever hear of the trailers with the real distinctive paint jobs being stolen? Always seems to be the plain Jane white, gray, or black ones that get ripped off..

Who can paint something real ugly, like my face, on my trailer real cheap???

I was think the same thing Rich. The next trailer is getting some very loud paint job!

Sorry about the loss! Will keep an eye out here in North West Colorado for ya! A picture of something close to what the trailer looked like might help also!

I can only imagine the look on their faces when they opened the trailer door not to find tools and compressors.
Kinda like WTF are those. and what are we going to do with them.:face-icon-small-dis

You never know. Might just turn up after all.

How long are they making you wait before paying a claim?

Now I can bribe you to come ride with us by offering a sled for a visit. LOL
Keep your chin up kev. Good things happen to good People.

What a bunch of !@#$

I don't post a ton on here but, :mad:I read the post on the deal in Heber and now this one......what a bunch of crap!!!!! I had someone bust into my car a few years back just after I came home from hunting.....was a late night and I just didn't want to unpack...needless to say about 3k was gone in the morning....nothing boils your blood more.

If you need any gear...I have a ton of extra stuff rolling around and I am sure that even if it isn't as big as a sled....our group of riders has a ton of extra stuff that we could put together a little goody bag for sure!!!!

Kev sorry to hear about you loss. I know how you feel after my trailer and 2 sleds were ripped off in March.

Good Luck.
Jeff

You got some pics of the sleds and trailer? Really sucks Kev. I had a buddy with his 4 place stolen out of his driveway at 10:00a.m. one summer morning with 3 sleds inside. It was found 4 months later in a garage in the avenues. Poor basturds had no idea what to do with it once they got it home. it just sat in thier garage until they got arrested for something else and the police found it when they raided thier house.
If you would like some gear, sounds like everyone has some extra stuff floating around to give you. I do as well. Let us know on sizes. I have a klim bib and boots that are just sitting. Probably some other stuff as well.

Thanks Rich, I only had my trailer 6 mos. or so so I dont have any pics. of it?

None yet Scott, looks pretty bleek. Thanks Andy all you guys are studs there is a whole sunday school lesson here! Bless all your hearts I dont care what the tree huggers say you guys are allright.

Kev...I've got an extra pair of Klim Freeride pants....but, you'll probably have to take the front in quite a bit! ;)

I don't take it in the front or back, and please leave me out of your homo ******a fantasies...If that was to much or in anyway hurts my chance of me riding your sled this year I'd like to apologize right now;)

It look like I may be able to afford a 87 Panther after all the dust settles! I don't know why the even asked me to list my "add ons"? $5300.00 is better than nothing huh?
