UH OH!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol.

Turbotater, Sled Idaho and myself...and the locals. Including Toad.

Pale Rider Clint Eastwood has nothing on us.....Boulder City will never be the same.

Pics and reports to follow.
Leaving in 10mins.

finely going to get that thing? is this the one the crank died last year on?
missed a phone call from him earlier in the day:mad:

I'll try to get some pics of him stuck deep in some hole or something. lol

Sunburned. Tired. Dehydrated. Smiles galore.

Sled Idaho, Turbotater, Toad and myself.

NICE day.

Whew what a great spring riding day!! Thanks to Scott for the invitation to what turned out to be an amazing day. Great to meet Toad & TurboTater.

Like Scott said, sunburned, tired, dehydrated and smiling ear to ear. Add lots of fist-bumping and high-fives, sore and still smiling to that.

The Stiegler 1155 really pulls HARD. Under one hour of tuning and clutching and it was really hitting it.

Here are my pics with captions. Stiegler will likely post his when he gets home later today. Let me know if you have any trouble seeing this album. My photos posted to Picasa

this is damn cool, Scott has waited a Long-Time for this setup to consistently run and run at the top of its game!:sun::)

Scott, those are GREAT pics. I wish my lens was clean as yours. LOL Wait til you see.

Got home about 3:00 today.

Sure glad to have been down there and ridden with the fine folks from Idaho.

I'll get my pics posted in the next day or so.

I let off and started coasting when I left those other tracks...that ****er flat out RIPS!!!! :)

Looks like fun, I didn't make it into Boulder this year. I live in the area. Look me up next time you come out. The locals aren't to into big sleds. I seem to be one of the few who likes to hop m up. I'll bet the trailhead was a muddy mess. I am suprised that you would leave your area for Boulder. Nice pics

IDAHO HOT SHOT - The parking lot and road crossing were pretty nasty but the trail was great all the way in.

Motley Doo - LOL...It's a full-face, no NMFH's on the hill. Scott & I however did give a talk on the NMFH. Scott has a no NMFH sticker on his helmet; that got the subject going.

Baker Lake is where we went.

We ended up not going into Boulder City cause Tater was pretty sure the creeks would be open and the snowbridges gone. He would know...he's been in there many times over the last 20 or 30 years.

Things are pretty bare around the open foothills aound Easley etc. Gotta get up and get out of the valley to ride.
We didn't get to the parking lot til 10.
Not quite freezing at night, but scratchers are a must in the morning.

I'll probably get my pics uploaded tonight.
Chappy, a towel won't cut it...it's the inner lens that's got fuzz on it.

Horsepower RULES!!!!!!!
Wow it’s fast (at least I think so). It took a bit for it to lossen up with the new pistons and crank…but once she did…wow did she wake up.
Dropped some weights out of the primary and picked up 300 RPMs instanty, reshimmed my secondary clutch (the belt was a little tight) and the bottom end response was WAY better. It was loading the motor and it wasn’t as snappy until we shimmed it out.

I took the air filters off and ran open carbs. It RAN HARD…but when we got up to 10K feet elevatioin and the weather got really warm (60°+ up there) it got a "little" fat on the bottom and mid range. Put the filters back on and of course it got worse. LOL

BUT running in cooler temps and lower elevation it will be spot on with fuel mixture and clutching. My piston wash wasn’t checked, but plugs looked fantastic.

NICE day.

Ya buddy on the SUNBURN!!!
My face started peeling off this morning.
Musta burnt eyes too, they're red as my face and burn like he!!.
Was a great day for Scott to have his moment in the sun. (long time coming)
Too bad he didn't have a bigger crowd.
All in all, had a great time. Good to meet another Snowest junkie, Sled Idaho.
Lets do it again!!!

I don't need a crowd. LOL
BTW, your little sneaky turbo is dangerous. People aren't going to know what that thing is.

HEY, how come we never lined up on that hill at the lake?

My lips have been sore for two days.
The factor 30 wasn't enough. LOL

I like my stock lookin mildly boosted sled. Been reliable and just plain fun to ride.

To be honest, I was too busy listening to yours getting ideas for getting it dialed in.

I told ya, I'm not gunna comment on your sore lips. lol

Checked the report today, Baker only has 76% of average snow pack this year. Maybe next year it'l be better.
