Maybe it's me, but I liked the commentators on Fox, earlier in the season better, than these guys on ABC. Well, Rusty is OK, he knows what he's talking about, but the guy on the right side of the commentator desk, either takes the opposite side of whatever was previously said by one of the others, or he just repeats what someone else said.
I don't think he really knows much about the sport.
I don't have cable or satellite, so I don't know how the mid season announcer team comes across.

I keep wondering what it must be like for those racers that run in the 30's and 40's positions every week? Guess its a paycheck, not much satisfaction tho.

Don't you just love the little race want-a-be suits the pit announcers wear. OMG I'd quit and hang myself if they made me wear those. Saying they look gay is being too kind.

I actually feel bad for the 18 crew. Now I said the 18 crew not the 18 driver so don't bash me just yet. Kinda funny yesterday watching kyle self destruct and have his very one little boy pitty party. There was nothing wrong with his car or motor except they were off alittle on handling but instead of kyle making the best of what he had an just digging in an doing his best to get the job done he starts crying about the motor blowing up or it had a different pitch/sound to it. Every time they showed his in car or telemetry it was pulling 9k or 9k plus on the front stretch the same as the other cars. Then he seemed to somewhat get over his hissy fit and he claimed the motor fixed itself. Never ever heard of a motor that was blowing up fix itself by running it longer. Once they start going south it's a one way ticket to explosion or they just stop running all together.
