I think I done lost some hearing in my right ear today- If ya live in springville and heard the boom today at about 2:00 it was me.

Closed in a bad transformer and brought the whole block outside to see what happened, between the can falling of the "Rock Sled" last week and the boom today I cant hear nothing. Huh, what huh, did ya say somthing??

really loud when it's on one end of a eight foot Hot Stick, and your on the other end..

holly crap, that happened while you were on the other end of the hot stick??

i work with a guy who was tieing in a 13.8V breaker, dragin the lines in a cabinet that had live a live 13.8 buss....well he forgot to isolate the grounding straps, so they floped around as they drug in the lne....you know the rest, hes lucky to be alive

Ive also seen an xformer with 30MW blow...i thought the world was over

it was just a "Cut Out" that blew, but somtimes they sound like a cannon blast.....its a minimal crap............. but a "Regulator" gone bad thats a "Holy Crap" ....never knew I could run so fast I not allowed in the Substations anymore...
