K MOD Tunnel Gussets

K MOD new tunnel gussets for the Polaris Pro Ride.
In Polaris's effort to lighten the new Pro Ride they have used a thinner gage on their aluminum tunnel. There are two spots in the tunnel that can have pronounced stress, from the front suspension through the bulkhead to the stirrup area and from rear suspension through the drop brackets. In these two areas the tunnel is the weak link to vehicle trauma.

We at K MOD decided to solicit the design and engineering efforts of Paul Hurley of Fire N Ice Vents, Paul has over 35 years of snowmobile design and testing.

Here is what we come up with for the Pro Polaris tunnel reinforcement's.
We have tested them in extreme conditions and have had excellent durability.
They are made of .100 6061 aluminum and are very strong.

The rear sets come with rivets, instructions and are 125.00
They fit up against the factory gusset and are designed for strength and aesthetically fit the vehicle.
The bulkhead gussets are being finalized for pricing.

Questions can be directed to Kevin at 208-681-0348
or Paul at 208-523-1311

Thanks, Kevin

I agree they look great, I prefer the looks of these over the Timbersleds rear gussets. How much disassembly is required for the front plates?

So if you were gonna do a skid and track would there be a lot more you would have to disassemble to get these on?? Sorry I have never done a skid so don't know what all has to be done to do the skid and track.

Ps: I don't think your link in your sig is working

You would have to remove the chain case and the inter chain case mount to do the front braces, the rear you can do with just the skid out.

Eric, I am currently out of the front braces but I think Paul at Fire and Ice has some in stock.

If it replaced the orginal bracket and tied into the running boards that would be a pretty sweet idea.
