Just when I thought I was changing brands I rode the XP...hmmmmmm

Well my 07 800r has had so many problems and has been back so many times I decided to buy a different sled next year ( probably a Nitro MTX ) Now, I did not snow check an XP because of my problems with my Ski Doo and swore I would never give them another dime, that is until ........I rode a new XP 154"..........OMG............I loved that sled from the second I took off. I have 1400 Fox Float Evols on mine and the stock XP seemed like it pounded the bumps better. When I found some powder I was in heaven. I only rode it for about 10 minutes but when I was done I got off the sled and said im buying one, plain and simple. Best sled out of the box ( or any sled for that matter ) I have ever ridden. When I got back on my 07 it really felt like a tank. We did drag race a few times and he got the hole-shot everytime but I ended up passing him everytime. NOTE: He only had 50 miles on his sled and I have a Cudney head so not really a fair comparison. He races the Iron Dog so hes a much better rider than me. Also everything I seen him try to go up he did, without a problem and to a few climbs he suprised me. He is a awesome rider but the sled was just as good. I have went back and forth to just go buy one now or wait and snowcheck an 09. As hard as it is to do I have decided to just wait and snowcheck ( I really felt in 09 they would get some of the bugs from 08 worked out ) But I was shocked, I got on this sled knowing I was going to hate it and barely gave it a chance and WOW did it ever suprise me.
BTW.........the new XP kinda rides like our 08 Phazer MTX but has all the power the Phazer does not. Very fun ride

I love it too, I have a smile on my face whenever I'm riding it and I'm laughing when I climb higher than everyone else!!! Yah waiting for 09 is an idea, more of the problems will be fixed. I had to buy new my sled was nearing the gates of heaven...

Have to agree with sylvanlaker I smile more with every trip I make with mine...It just seems to pull harder and run better with every trip I make...order 1 you won't be sorry

talked to the doo rep today, said all 08 problems are fixed for 09! apparently they have a bunch of upgrades over the 08.

They might have--but they have been fighting the clutching for 2 years now.

I hope they have--but what else would you expect him to say--that thhey have the same issues still---LOL

BRP can be a pain in the butt for stupid problems and warranty items, but i gota give them credit for their research and development... they do know how to design them

the xp is hands down the winner this year over any others out there, power, maneuverability, weight, and overall fun factor blows the competion... dragons, nitros and m series are good machines but once you driven the xp for a while and then go back to them, you Will be disapointed... good choice

can you believe what people would be saying if BRP would of got this sled right out of the box with out the clutching, belt issue , drive shaft and hand warmer issues... lol.......... it was that close

funny thing is i talked to 2 big doo dealer and they have not had 1 crank fail on an 08!!! 07? lots. and a friend works there, so no need for him to bs me!!!

Funny, that's what the "Palm" Rep told us about the "Treo" device 2 years ago. Still crap. Great concept/product, bad build.

last i heard for western canada, was less than 5 bad motors in the 08 xps, all being rods i think he said... thousands and thousands sold... motors are bullets now...

07s were bad, some guys still on the same motor, some on mutiples... THATS 07
