As our national debt races toward the $10 trillion mark (for Amercans), consider this: A million dollars is a stack of tightly bundled 1000 dollar bills 4 inches high. A billion dollars is bundles of thousands 300 feet high. A trillion is a stack of thousand dollar bundles 63 MILES high! Check my math if you want but I checked it myself several times and it's legit. Ouch! how do we pay off that kind of debt?

actually if you put it in laymens terms, most laymen have never seen a 1000 bill so ....

billion dollars stacked tightly with 100 dollar bills - 3000' feet high
trillion dollars stacked tightly with 100 dollar bills - 630 miles high
and finally....

You de-value it as fast as you can through inflation. The 1 trillian debt we rack up in a year now, will seem trivial down the road when we are getting 1 quadrillan loans.

There are only about 300 million people in the US if my search was right. And about 115 million households. Do that math. I thought my spending and debt was already out of control. But with others forcing me to spend that much more and forcing me to add that much more to my debt because they have already spent it on my behalf, I need to stop spending time here and get back to work. I've got to find a way to make about another $200,000 for my families share. See Ya! Hey wait. Didn't that guy that ran JP Morgan walk away with 400 million. We could just all go together and talk really seriously to him about taking care of our share.
