Just got back from Kremmling CO! Burandts Backcountry Adventure!

Nice shots, looks like the Vholdr Cam works well, was that the 1080hd? Another quick ? All of you guys rented by the looks of things, Were all of those Dragon's Boondockered Turboed? I ask b/c they first didn't sound the same and they didn't seem to pull the same as far as i could tell from the footage. How were they?

Thanks keep it up.

The VholdR works awesome and YouTube doesn't do it justice as I've got the raw footage to compare too. It's the 720p! Problem is it's the best option when it comes to sharing the video. I sponsor the Backcountry Adventure so I make one trip a year out to visit, ride and help Chris out in the shop. We rode all of Chris's sleds. Right now he has Stage 1, 2, and 3 SLP Mod sleds, 1 Assault which is his personal sled a Race gas Boondockers turbo. I believe there will be one Pump Gas Turbo as a rental but he's waiting on the goods from Boondockers to do that sled and Sahens sled.

I only rode the Stage 1 800, 163 and thought it ripped.

Way out of line,my apologies.

Apology accepted.:D

Awesome pics and vids Paul!

So would you suggest the 720 or the 1080, thinking of getting the fellas to go in with me on a vholdr camera.

A+ I'd like to give that a whirl one day, sure you can teach your self but the same thing goes with drag racing and who wouldn't want to go to NHRA Camp and drive somebody elses 8 second cars.. whats that it broke.. oh well, good thing I don't have to foot the bill to fix it.. thanks for the fun!!!!

720

From what I understand the 1080p requires some pretty expensive software to edit the footage.

Nice review Paul! Sounds like you had a great time! I was kind of bummed we didnt get to meet up and ride with you guys. The helmet cams work awesome! A few more storms and i expect to see you in Utah :)

Excellent write up and pics/video!! :face-icon-small-coo Thanks sooooooo much for sharing this!! :)

It's great to get to share a little bit in something that everyone who goes, has a fantastic time. It's definitely something I'd like to do someday.

Chris is a great ambassador to our sport, and it's nice to see him always happy and willing to help out others........and to make sure those that ride with him have a safe, but fun time. :face-icon-small-hap

So......did you sleep a few extra days after this experience? ;) :)

Not the software the power of the computer it takes to run the software and rendering and all that I was running A apple G5 with more power than you could think back when I did wedding vids and I would still lock it up if I rendered huge sections. Take that back I was running final cut and that alone is verry pricey. Love the vids if I could do it just once I would.

My pleasure....no actually, I came home and worked 3 hours before bed and had to hit it hard the next day. The joys of owning your own business.:D

Thank you for the insight!!

Hey Paul nice post and pics, I was wondering have you tried uploading to vid to vholdr's site. The way I understand it is you tube will down grade to 480p for all uploads but vholdr site will keep it 720p.

I'm sure, I just haven't had time to mess around with different things.

Nice pics...

Doesn't youtube support 1080 now?

I'm sure it does, the problem with it is you have to upload the video to their sites but you can't do much editing with it. Very time consuming.

great pics paul...would love to ride with chris.....

I've ask my wife for a trip there two Christmas's in a row and still nothing but slippers.I'll try again next year.

Hmmmm....maybe improve your behavior throughout the year?? :face-icon-small-hap

Riding with him is a riot.

Good to see Chris mov'n on a Po. He really is a great combination of personality and sick ability to ride. I'm not far away from Kremling, but I still hope to jump in on his experience someday!
