Just bought 09 M1000 - Mod Recommendations?

Hi all,

I just bought an 09 M1000. I want to start with an SLP pipe, intake and PC111.

My questions are:

Is anyone running with good results Arctic Weights in the primary with SLP's secondary setup for their pipe and intake? If so, which ones 8-10000'? and with which belt?

I have heard mixed things about the MTX weights. Plus, even though I have the tools to do it, I really do not want to take apart the primary on a brand new sled.

How necessary is it going to be to add additional engine stabilization to the 09? It seems as if it is mostly the guys with the 08's and 07's that have MM issues. If so, who makes the best and easiest to install kit?

I just replace the clutch side engine mount plate because of a tearing mount. I will be adding 3 more mounts. They also changed the alignment of my motor to lead a 1/16" so when under torque it is parallel with the secondary.?? I will be sending my clutch to slp for balancing and am going to retry the mtx weights. going with all there recommendations. The also have a new spring and different heavier weights, I will try. I have run with stock AC weights but was not satisfied. It worked just not well enough. I don't like there intake, I run a bdx but its only good for about a season. I think the helix is better no matter what you do. I would go with the pipe and PC3 though.
