I have a 2003 mountain cat 900, and it has a slp air box and that means I do not have the jetting chart for it. Somebody helped me out awhile back and sent me one from a 05 kk 900 (thanks by the way) but I don't know if is the same for mc, could somebody please point me in the right direction. I have tried google and can't dig anything up. any help would be great.

As far as I know the only change between 03 and 05 was the timing curve, the 03 ran a little hotter in midrange so you picked your needles up a notch.

I am asuming that would make the sled just a bit richer? When they say clip position, is that from the top of the needle 1-4 (1 being the leanest?) or the other way around?

You move the clip down to get richer, that raises the needle and feeds more fuel into the system. Trail riding at 6000rpm burned a lot of them down. Some guys put in zr needles to feed a little more fuel at mid range, I just picked my needles up and never held it very long at a time, kept working the throttle.
