Jetting 03 700 rmk with SLP single

I recently purchased a 03 700 with an slp single. This going to be the wife sled so it does not need to be on the hairy edge. We ride 3-6k. When I got it had 410 and 420 mains and needle was in the second position. The guy I got it from said down low it was on the edge. SLP recommend 450 and 440s with the needles in the third position so this is where I started. Does this seem reasonable? I rode it once in heavy wet snow at the end of the day for a couple of mile and it seemed OK.

What elevation are you riding at. I have 440's in at 1700 feet and can go as low as 430's, 420's. 440's and needle in the middle clip are still plenty rich with a gutted airbox , slp air kit , 2 dash flo rites and full slp exhaust.
