Sad news

RIP Jeremy.. its a dangerous game for those who tempt fate...
best wishes go out to his family.. Ill be showing that video to my 17 yr old son and ask him about his choices..

Looks to me like rescue personel did everything wrong. Taking his helmet off, rolling him over immediately, running with him on a stretcher, etc. RIP!

It's terrible, that sport should be dangerous, But Not Deadly!

I thought the exact same thing. Is it me or did his whole run just look not up to his usual quality? RIP Jeremy you will be missed and God Bless your family!

Heavy hearted............

God bless you Jeremy! God bless your family and friends.

Man, that is hard to watch...RIP Jeremy...prayers to the family and loved ones he leaves behind:brokenheart:

Godspeed bro, if there is an after-life, I hope you get to roost up the deepest loamy dirt all day long for ever and ever.
It's sad to see a fellow 2 wheeled moto brother pass, I hope they take that crash off you tube, I dont need to see that.

I was thinking the same thing, you would think they would be proficient in trauma care. It doesn't look like it would have made a difference in the end, looks like his neck snapped.

Prayers to his family, it is tragic!

x2........Don't know why, I just agree. It would be different seeing him just up and walk away or know he was recovering, but I wouldn't want a vid out showing my way out of the world. RIP:brokenheart::(

p.s. not to spark a debate or justify a lawsuit, but............. I was completely awstruck at the way the EMS crew handled him after the crash. Moving arms, rolling him over, etc... not at all standard practice with that kind of injury. Seeing that would make me want an evaluation of each action to see if there was some negligence in the heat of the moment.

I disagree.
People need a reminder that these guys doing these stunts are human, and these stunts are very, very technical, and mistake can & do cost the ultimate penalty.

I wonder if the emergency workers were local crew in Costa Rica or part of the crew that travels with the tour?

I also suspect those guys will start wearing the same neck protective gear that race car drivers wear.

Two things I admire most about other people are: 1.) Achievement, and 2.) those that do the things I've only dreamed about.

This mofo did both those.

Unbelievable. Just terrible.
