WOW, this thread is still going? Well today I was freezing outside in the -30 degree weather this morning and I had to take a leak real bad, by the time I got done and zipped up I was so numb & frozen I did not realize that I got my junk caught in my jean zippers and if you have ever had the beans over the frank and were bleeding weel then you know what I mean!
So I was bleeding pretty bad and I had to go to the hospital and as embarassed as I was I ended up getting 393 stitch's in my unit!
Ok I was trying to funny and make some one laugh tonight, when is thread going to die for real?

I was just doing a search for Clutch Man to see what he's been up to besides ripping me off! He is the owner of repair shop in Central Oregon and he is the jerk.
He sold my sled on 1/2/11 and still has not given me the money.
I have however received MANY crazy emails that are as horrible to read as his original post. I had to LMAO when I found it and saw that everyone said what I've been thinking all along.

Here is an email from GRS to one of his customers (3/30/2011). He has had her sled for nine months to replace a fuel pump which he has been paid for. The customer is a 60 year woman who is 5'-2". Gordon is a 300 pounder. Lets vision this woman kicking his butt.
Last Thursday I was with her trying to get her sled back from his shop in La Pine, OR. He would not give it to her (like he hasn't for the last 9 months) and the Sheriff was at a point where they couldn't do anything (long story). This guy is good. He told the Sheriff he would deliver her sled to her fixed and running on the 30th (today). So here is his reply to the woman who owns the sled.
"I will not and can not deal with you and I am SCARED of you and the threats you made to me on face book.
remember what you did to an x of your so this will now be HANDELED BY MY LAWYER and i am headed to get a restraining order on you in the morning
this was advised by my lawyer and the officer. so here we go. you sled Will be put in lock down until this is settled
bring on you lawyer. have fun with that.
I WILL NOT SEE YOU ON THE PASS AT 6 PM WEDNESDAY 30TH"
Maybe he can get a multiple restraining order discount from Deschutes County? I think he he should add myself and most of his customers to the list also.

My sled is a different case then the one mentioned by DLynn. So, note - two rip off's from this guy. (there are more, they just are mentioned on this thread)
I have turned him into Better Business Bureau - he has had 45 days with them and has not responded.
I have turned him into the Sheriff's.
I have filed Small Claims, Oregon State Law is $7500.
I have no sled, no money and none of the spare parts he scabbed off the sled prior to selling. I got SCREWED!! I just don't want anyone else to go through the same thing, and if they have and are not doing anything about it - I want them to jump on board and bring his business down.

Gordon Shields (A.K.A GRS Snowmobile, Clutchman) is a classic piece of **** liar and thief, with an apparent third grade education, that hides behind his lawyer while ripping off the community. I know first hand, as I am being ripped off right this minute.
We have called him numerous times (to the point that he has threatened to sue us for harassment), but he just tells us lies every time. We have been promised full payment, partial payments, and legal action many times, but still not received a dime. He has threatened to sue us for calling him eleven time in one hour (but did he call back to settle up, **** no).
We have called the Sheriff's, but he is very experienced at thievery, as he has a lawyer on staff; (Robert Lovlien of Bryant Lovlien & Jarvis in Bend, Or), that informs him on how to stay just above the law. Can you imagine the kind of person that would represent this piece of ****? Gorgon keeps telling me to contact his lawyer, I have called him six times, without one returned call (now that is representation).
Because we (and his other victims) gave him our sleds voluntarily, as you would at a reputable business, it makes it a civil case (our word against his). The only legal option left is a small claims case, of which we have begun. He should be served by the sheriff's via our law suit any day now! We have done all that we can do, legally. Any other option, we start stooping to his level (dog ****). This will not get our sled back or or money to us.
In the mean time he is spending our money building his new shop at his mommy's house in La Pine (because he got kicked out of his last house/shop). Yep, only his mother will take him in, at least for now. I really think she should be told what kind of son she has raised (I know I would want to know if my son was a community thief).

There are several people coming out of the woodwork with similar stories. We have a meeting set up for several of us victims to get together with the County Sheriff's office to discuss a plan of action.
We are looking at a true menace to our community and society that needs to be stopped

There are enough of you that have had issues with this guy that you ALL really need to contact the State Attorney General. Why don't you guys use this thread to exchange some information and contact an attorney. It is expensive on your own but if there are as many of you as it seems, these costs would be very little if spread out.
Let him hide behind his attorney when he has the State of Oregon Attorney General contacting him.... LOL
