Jaws pipe/can issues

18 pro rmk and just installed the jaws pipe and can. At 7300 rpm’s it seems to have some sort of hesitation. I can go to wide-open throttle after that but then when I let off the throttle it feels like a Jake break and the exhaust makes a sort of Weezy sound.

I did notice that after two rides that it was in ethanol mode instead of non-ethanol mode. I didn’t realize until today that when you do a Maps update it defaults back to ethanol mode. Is it possible that the added oil from being an ethanol mode has gummed up my exhaust valves causing this issue mentioned above. Thoughts?

Ethanol mode doesn’t effect the oil pump setting.

It’s added fuel.

Hmmm ok. I thought more oil gets dumped in that mode but my Mind was probably just thinking about the initial tank of gas w extra oil in ethanol mode.

Could the added shim for clutching cause the issue? I realize the exhaust valves are opening but I’ve never experienced the hesitation nor the back pressure until the jaws setup

What reducer are u talking about? I had just the pipe, can and shim in my kit. Gaskets ofcourse.
