Jaw's bleu up

Those are some great photos. What is the name of the pipe and where do you get them?
It looks tight but if it works and is quieter that is a big plus.

Thanks again for your time in helping me

This pipe is a Snowhawk specific pipe so you need to get it from an authorized dealer or direct from AD bovion not cheap. I got mine used from a guy who didnt mind the extra noise of the Jaws pipe. Someone was selling one on this forum do a search on Quiet Pipe. I had to do some modification to the arms the come up to support the top cowl basically had to make them narrower so the pipe sits down a tad.
FYI
During this work I noticed my frame was a bit bent forward of the Motor mount, this bend caused the belly to rub a channel in the main frame down behind the brake.

One sure thing is all that weight at the front is not a good thing. I rode the 2 and let me tell you, I don't want to carry that suitcase. Worst place to put weight so far for sure.

Here's an option I just thought of:
I really wonder if someone could start with this Mattech head pipe (the first section after the Y), cut it somewhere after the female section that slips over the Y, rotate it 180 degrees and reweld it so the end of it points towards the other side of the Hawk (cog belt side), fit a 42-43mm stigner (for an 800) from that pipe to the silencer then plug the hole on the top that was going to the suitcase.

That would probably make a better pipe than the 600 Jaws I think. I heard a lot of good comments on this exhaust system, how it runs but I can't handle the weight of it.

Tony, have you ever opened up the suitcase and see what's in there ?

The weight is a small penalty to pay for a machine where you don't need ear plugs to ride. By far the machine is better because of this pipe, its jetted richer and produces more power and I believe the added weight had increased the ski pressure making more grip on trails.

Good luck modd'in that pipe, I would rather ride.
