Japanese riders having fun

Found some awesome riding vids from Japan. I didn't know that snowmobiling was such a big sport over there too. Apparently they get a lot of snow in some places, as these videos show. Looks pretty awesome! They sure get a kick out of it. (In 720p also)

Have a look at some of the related clips too. Hours of pre-snow entertainment. (Caution: May induce snow fever) Come on snow, hurry up....

And I thought all those people trying to buy my sled were scammers. "I wish very much to buy your arctic snowmobile" I guess it was the japanese people needing a new ride to himark their tomodachi

How do you know it's in Japan? How do you know the riders are Japa-Knees? I was just thinking it is probably a small tour group of japa-knees watching a bunch of Americano's hill climb. "Ahhh, verdy gooood"

Haha, that's true. No guarantees. I just figured it was Japan because the caption was in Japanese. :face-icon-small-ton Apparently it loosely translates to "The riders running around on January 31" according to Google Translate.

Besides, in that users other Youtube videos they sure look like Japanese men and we sure don't get that vegetation around here. But who knows...

We've sold quite a few sets of boards in Japan. I was worried we were being scammed but they've always been legit. That vid looks like riding with some of our crew...mostly the lack of skills aspect! brap

I would think with the land they have to ride in you would have to be a little wealthy to be riding a sled out there. I know golf courses are far and few and it is costly to play.

Actually you are right about the cost, they're very expensive.

But...you'd be surprised at the number of courses, they're EVERYWHERE. You fly over in a helicopter and it seems there are more courses then houses. Sometime two and three right next to each other.

If you think about it it is in a similar location on the nothern hemisphere as all the best riding spots here. Add in its costal local. Can you say SNOW

Here is a couple from December 2005.....uhhhh can you say powder day!!

From what I understand the mountains and snow are top notch in Japan. I remember when the first pro Snowboarders were making their way over. They were all shocked at the sweet terrain.

Alot of the ski resorts there get more than 400" a year...sounds pretty good to me.

There is a special on Shaun White where he goes to Japan to snowboard. The snow was unreal, something about the cold air coming over Siberia meeting the moist warm air of the Pacific that equates to many many snows.

I remember an old interview with an engineer at Arctic Cat. He was discussing testing the "new" M8 and M1000 motors and one thing that caught my eye is he said they did extensive testing in Japan because of the extremely low elevations and different snow conditions available.
