Lots of sled traffic this year, plus below average snowfall, makes finding fresh powder to play in tough, but so far I've found a few new places to play. Each time I get out, this sled makes me feel like I'm cheating, it just works so well off trail!2021-01-03 14.31.41.jpg

How about a little more info on this???? LOL
Shattered bottom chaincase gear, stripped top gear, this is what happens when you don't ever tighten the chain from new lol. Buddies sled that I jumped on for a couple pulls, and I was the lucky one whom failed it lol.

Why the helicopter though?
I'm guessing that was the only way out??? All though.... a chain case could be fixed in the field if absolutely needed? I rode up in Alaska a few years back and rode, Turnagain, Hatcher's Pass and Petersville. One of the sleds ended up breaking a crank while we were in Hatcher's but if it would have been a day prior in Turnagain.......it would have been a helo ride out!!!

I guess i’d do a field motor swap before paying for a chopper. ??‍♂️

Chaincase is easy.

(Swap those crappy powder metal gears when new)
