I don't think that I was alone in thinking this, but I thought the hill sucked this year. No turns to speak of, no sidehilling, just hold on tight and go. I have been around RMSHA since about 1995 and thought this was the worst Jackon yet. I went and got out the old videos I had and man those sleds were not anything close to what we have now, and they had wicked sidehills and corners to go though. I realize it is a tough hill, but everybody just flew to the top this year, and I just thought it was kinda boring. But I do have to say it did my heart good to see Cat stomp everybody in the pro classes

I would have to dissagree a little. Yea the course was pretty open on sunday, which only makes for higher speeds and faster times. On the other hand, Saturdays course was not easy. To watch some of rmsha's best CREEP through the 5 ft trench that was aroung gates 7-8 (i believe) then turn and try to get over the rock wall, to only fail and watch their sled run into the net or into the crowd(Sorry Chris)is not considered an easy course.

Sure, some years might have been better, but Sat. was FAR from boring.:beer;

Too easy

The hill was not easy sunday morning before the race started. The officals had a pretty tough course set up. A couple of the racers expressed some concern and the course was straiten out to what it was. I was on the top of the hill when Mark Thompson went over and said out loud "that was too easy". A lot of the racers said the course was too strait or easy.

Congrats to Jackson locals Tom Roby and Shad Free on their first titles. Long time coming men good job!!

should have tried the qualifiers on Thursday and Friday... the hill caught a lot of racers just trying to be fast to the first cat walk

on a different issue it was sad to not see a lot of racers there that had represented the now gone BCF and MSSHA... it appeared the overall racer count was down
