Having trouble removing jackshaft from bearing on clutch side. removed nut on back side and still can't get them seperated or bearing removed. any ideas would be great.
Sorry, it is an apex, jackshaft is completely free other than the bearing being stuck on the collar and in the bulkhead. I,ll try partly re-threading the nut and tapping it with a little heat.
The guys at yamaha maid it sound like if you took off the nut the collar would just slide right out, i guess i should have known better. Too bad i'm stuck at work or i'd give r a try.
