It's litter, plain and simple

Exactly I dont know how much time all together ive spent picking garbage up in the parking lot. The thing that makes me mad about that is that there is plenty of garbage cans right in the lot before you hit the trail.

We do alot of hiking in the areas that we sled in the summer. We are amazed at where we find candy bar wrapers, butts, bottles. way back in pritine areas. If you see someone littering, point it out. I think that most of us love the mtns and want to keep what we have. Summer trash will be another arrow in our side.

I have the hardest time seeing trash in the parking lot. It is not like the truck or trailer is so full that we cannot pack out the cans or bottles that we brought with us!!!

I too get tired of hauling out other people's trash, I wish I could catch people in the act more often and stick it to them.
