It took 10 years....

Used to work on ski resorts. The thing that would piss me off is all the greenies have no problem with the snowmobiles that the resorts use to provide them with service (ski patrol, lift maint, etc), but they are revolted at the idea of a snowmobiler riding out of bounds of a ski resort due to it "destroying" their powder...

They Don't Get It!!!

I am glad you said coal fired plant, they dont relaize nearly 66% of elctricity comes form coal. I say turn off all coal power plants for a week or two and see what they all say about global warming.

can i use that story here in CO?

Anyone can use this story!

And let's get this straight. I don't have a problem with resorts, coal, skiing or people enjoying themselves. I just get a little sick of people looking down their nose pointing at my sled when three fingers are pointing back at them. My favorite is when people drive their SUV to recycle three card board boxes...

It is the hypocracy or selfishness that chaps me.

Living in the middle of the extreme green region of Colorado, I will be able to use this on many occasions.

BTW, I have been Telemarking since 92 and do not wear a haybale hat.

antoher point. In the summer my tracks will disappear, the cuts on the mtn will still be there along with the garbage left over from the previous seasons

That's a pretty good idea that could be used as a print add to support snowmobiling and visually show ppl the negative effect these "greenies" have on our environment. Have a mountain/valley pic with lots of trees with a caption saying something about a snowmobilers paradise. Then have a pic of a similar scene with ski runs, lifts, parking lots, etc. with a caption about a skiers paradise. Which pic would look more natural to you?

The only problem with this idea is the radical environmentalist hate ski resorts too and are always preventing them from expanding etc. It is a great arguement against the brain washed hypocrites though.
