It isn't ALL about pillow fights..........

CG, maybe next year you could integrate a rescue class into the ride.

I'll volunteer to go up the hill and get stuck, and simulate a heart attack. I expect everyone will have to take turns saving me. I hope they all remember there CPR. :)

If you go ride with them, don't forget to pack your iron.... of the curling variety !
hehehe

You guys are SOOOOOOOOOOOO funny! :beer;

Curling IRON bwahahaa

CPR?? hehehehe

I'll take STRAY up on the guide offer though! :D

Imagine the money you could make if you combined the fundraising WITH pillow fights. :eek: I think you could easily add a zero to the end of your FUNdraising number. :D

I think what all yall ladies should do is use these rides as a means to attract more female riders to the sport in general ...

It would serve two purposes:

Women claiming wilderness bills are bad, even though by the numbers there would not be "that many" women on this side of things ... it would throw VASTLY more political clout behind the movement than a bunch of middle-class white dudes ever could no matter how many of us there are right now ... make snowmobiling in the rockies a true women's issue if you will ..

AND.............

yeah ... I admit ... I'd have a better chance of meeting single chick that sled this way too :D

The 9th Annual Ladies ride was something else this year. You can see that by the other thread with all the fantastic pictures of all the great lady riders that attended. Looks like alot of fun eh?

The serious side of it is that there are generous hearts that donated items for the Raffle and generous wallets that bought raffle tickets helped raise $1357 for SAWS!

WAY TO GO LADIES! :D

You gals and the above businesses that raised funds for SAWS are just amazing! :)

Thank you to every single one of you gals and every single business that contributed to this fundraiser from all of us at SAWS. I wasn't even aware that there was a SAWS fundraiser at this ride until just now.

You are all awesome in my book! :D

LOL good point OT !

I don't need another myself, the one I'm married to is quite enough !

I like trying to make them giggle with my bad humor. They have come so far and what this bunch of Ladies has done for this sport, they deserve that smile on their face.
Remember the old old forums when all was said about taking your wife with you snowmobiling was against all guys moral standards and or cut down the fun factor ?

You gaze upon a picture of some advanced riders as well as some not pictured on this thread, who ride, that would make a great wingman (wingwoman doesn't sound right here) on a ride once you got over the male - female bonding thing.
Blah, blah, blah, blah.... Guess what I'm trying to say is I respect them for their accomplishments in this sport.

Here is where I step off the soap box..... carry on !

Dang I was pretty disapointed in the whole thing really... Here I thought I was going for some girl talk, painting my finger nails, pedicures, braiding my hair...and a pillow fight... And I ended up riding sleds with 39 amazing rockin sled chicks (perma smiling watching all these kick arss ladies rip up the hill sides, tear up the meadows), dancing the night away, rasing money for a great cause, Meeting awsome new peeps, seeing all the great friends from years past... Cripe what a waste of a weekend..... :p

The ladies really stepped up to the plate for this year's raffle. :) I am honored to have been a part of the festivities!!

Now - we have more money for the cause - but don't forget to write your representatives to oppose the Northern Rockies Ecosystem Protection Act (NREPA). If this legislations passes - the ladies may have to find somewhere else to ride in the coming years......or more likely - we won't have anywhere left to ride at all. So - get those letters written to back up the cash you threw down in Halfway! STOP THE MADNESS!!

All but about 5 of the ladies are spoken for, true. And the majority of the gals did not bring their men on this ride. Just wanted to kind of clear that up... because it is a LADIES RIDE and the majority do leave the men at home. I'm sure this sounds all feministish but I really strive to make this an ALL ladies event and don't like the idea that some might think we have our guys hiding in the woods. ;)

Gimp, thank you. Very much!

Susie Q, you are soooo right. That money will get us no where if we don't use our voices to back it up! :beer;

No pillow fights?!?! Way to go Coyote, another fantasy you have ruined:brokenheart: ;)

To me, there is nothing sexier than seeing a chick on a bunch of HP tearing up the mountain, handling her sled like a pro, snow covered hair swaying back and forth out of her helmet, yum, yum........good lord, I think need a cold shower. :D

Great pic ladies!! I hope it was a great experience for you all....one of these years I WILL make that ride....it looks like so much fun! :D
