Phil is making some noise with a 30 on the front side.
tigers hittin it wel off the tee, but his putting is not what it should be

I wish Tiger and Phil had finished somewhere near -11, that would have made it super interesting. Oh well, I want Perry to win, I like seeing records set and the oldest to win a major would be really neat. In this day of young upstarts and stars, it would be cool to see some of the old guard win.

Kenny Perry what an "athlete" same with Angel Cabrera I guess I was wrong that Pro Golfers aren't real athletes. I stand corrected they are not fat overweight old men who don't give a rats azz about their personel appearance and their conditioning like Tiger Woods. I guess Tiger ran out of gas and better hit the gym some more.
Cabrera only had 5 dogs at the turn
Mayby golf is more about skill and mental fortitude than athletesism either way these put on a great round of golf and I really hoped lefty had not choked like that.

I'm not surprised nor am I disappointed. After Tiger fell off, I didn't really have a favorite, although it would have been cool for Perry to take it.
Oh well, great final round, I always love playoffs.

It was a great day for golf until the last few holes for all.
It was not about who was going to win, but who would choke less then the other guys!! I was pulling for Perry but after he missed the 18th on the first playoff hole with a 9 iron (I believe) I was surprised.
Even Tiger choked coming in which is rare for him. It was like nobody wanted the win yesterday!

I really felt the buzz of what could have been one of the best Masters of the recent past, if not ever. Phil blazing a 30 on the front, the epic choke at the 12th, and then missing eagle....it just seemed to all fall apart from there. Tiger didnt seem all that strong all day- but seemed to maybe feed off of Phil some. Kenny played smart all day and didnt seem to stick his neck out. Campbell came on well. Cabrera recovered. I figured 12 under would get the win in the end.
The shoot-out was crazy and fun- Jesus must love Cabrera for all the luck he got. All in all would have been great to see Phil win another one- but the ending was still good.

x2 for that, golf would have a lot more viewers if they were able to parade around the beer girls between holes, kinda like UFC or boxing ring girls.On a side note... Anybody see that shot that Hunter Mahan made? From 40-feet out on the 16th made a HUGE loop around the green and rolled right in!
