issues with my pro... Thoughts?

I have heard that the only belt that works the best is the Polaris belt. All others will not fit oerfectly. Goodyear makes a belt that works very good. There was/is an article in sledwest magazine talking about belts in the Pro.

we did not see these problems very often but this is a few things we seen on the 2011s
a couple needed new injectors
check primary spring
make sure spark plug wires are fully seated on the spark plug.
check over the belt.

hoep this helps

Clean both clutch sheaves and install new belt. My guess is your belt may have some glazing on it. A glazed belt will have a smooth silver tint (same color as your clutch sheaves) to the grip side of the belt, so to speak. :face-icon-small-con $.02

^ For sure, I noticed the exact same behavior with 2 belts now. Both dropped off in RPM after 600-700 ish mountain miles. Belts look fine and would probably last longer, but the performance goes away. Someone with more brains may be able to explain why.

Can't speak to the brains. Belt gets narrower and longer with wear, while still within technical spec, even if you adjust deflection the belt can't physically be pushed as high in the primary while you're pulling more shift from the helix. New belt will make a difference, and it pays to measure width and length for your setup if you want consistent top performance. The 15 belt is more consistent in width, but length does vary abit. It's all in the little things for consistency.
