I just heard from a friend that you can not buy a 09 skidoo xp because of a clutch issue so skidoo has the dealers holding them till they get a fix for this problem, is this true?

I'm not sure about the holding it thing, however I do know of a dealer that was putting the 08' clutch on the 09's because in his words " I just couldn't get it to work " not sure what the exact issue was.

What the Duece are you taking about. Have you been on a mountain and seen the smurfmobiles everywhere. Have 350 on my, it 's total already with a new one to replace it.

I'am only asking if this is true, I know people already have them but I heard they are holding them now. P.S I'am glad you are on your second one of the season, sounds like it should be a good year for you!!!

don't know what your talking about.........at 110 miles on my machine, I'm seeing 56mph track speed in 3' fresh, nothing crazy for a hill, but a fairly good climb.......

oh, and the rpm's are rock solid 8200 fresh to hard pack, climbing to flat.......

lets get 10 hours on this thing and see what happens?

Havn't heard anything like that. The '09 calibration is alot better than the '08.....it's not the best for the hills, but a pretty good road race setup IMO. Lacking track speed in the deep, but rips hard on the roads! Working on something for the '09's for the hills.

Dealers are still selling...don't believe everything you hear or read.

According to many reports my 08 sucks too...but I can tell you it flat out rips and make Dragons look silly! :D

I have 100km's on my '09 154x and so far so good, on clicker 3 only until broken in a bit more, getting 7900rpm and 65km/hr track speed in deep snow last weekend. Was almost (but not quite) hanging with a few '08's and some revs, I am getting more and more confident that when it's broken in and gone to clicker 4 it will be a ripping stocker.

I think your frind has it mixed up, Ski doo wasnt allowing left over 08 xp to leave the dealer with out a new drive axle.
