I have a RKT torsional secondary on my sled right now and Im looking to put it back to the traditional style, the issue is I didnt put it together the old owner did so im not sure if this is supposed to be like this or not.

The pin sticks out a lot on one of them to lock a spacer thing on the torsional kit, what it looks like is the stock one just the spring sits in there and that pin shouldnt stick out?

no it shouldn't, there should be a plastic spacer after you push it back into place to hold in, like thick shim. I use a angled screw driver, one with a 90 on it to push those back in place.

The pin is sticking out because that is what holds the torsional spring cup in place. Torsional set ups have one long pin, so you will need to grind that down or get a stock pin in order for it to go in all the way. On a stock clutch the pins do not stick out.

You need a spring seat to go underneath the spring, spacer, and two spring seats that sit on top of the spring before you put the cam on.

part numbers are as follows:
0648-453 - spring seat for underneath the spring
0648-806 - spacer, sits inside of the spring seat before installing spring
0648-713 - Qty of 2, these go inside the cam before installing on the sheave.

My RKT torsional setup had me drill a 1/4 hole in the bottom of the sheave that the spring end dropped into and used the standard pins in all the rollers. Must have been an update along the way?
