Is there an 09-up ORANGE IQ skid plate??

With all of this talk... I sent them a contact for the orange UHMW material in large enough sheets for the IQ... with the new assaults in orange this will come in handy anyway.

The Oragne that they had for the Cats was not large enough.

LOL. yeh that would be sick for sure...but its a lot of coin to drop on a bumper..i have the 09 skinz bumper (with 09 front end) on my 05 900, and its great, and if i havent busted that thing yet, its a top notch part lol..

so will use the 09 stocker bumper on my 06 900 (with 09 front end) with this orange skid plate, then eventually get the 09 skinz bumper for this baby.

unless i can get my hands on a used CoBe bumper, lol.

Thanks for the info Eric...when i talked to SKINZ they said they talked to someone else recently about the orange color...might have been you?? good thing we teamed up and smacked a homer on this one

just wanted to let you know some more details....

talked to Tammy again today...she said they WILL also be making the ORANGE float plates for the OLDER (wider) body style IQs as well...even though there is an OEM one as stated above for the wider front end, a float plate provides MUCH more coverage to vital parts...

just got back from Glacier National Park...AWESOME...and busy as all hell..

Eric..i hear ya..i wasnt bugging them hopefully about it..just happen to talk to tammy a few times on something else i ordered and something i need to get done by them..so i squeaked in the skid plate when i talked her both times, lol...

i dont have any chickens right now..so 1 is better then none

i have been runing one for over a year now.......

FYI, don't be afraid to use a realy sharp knife and a sharpie. Thats how i trimed it to fit and how i made the windshield. THe skid plate was originaly on my IQR which has simular shaped plastics.

UPDATE!!!

Just got an email from Tammy at Skinz...they have the new orange material in stock now to make ORANGE Floatplates for new and old body style IQs...

The website does not give the orange color options...so when ordering an orange skidplate...order as BLACK and in the NOTES section state "orange" as the color of choice...

Just ordered my NEW orange sikd plate from SKINZ...will be for the narrow front end plastic...(they will make it for the older style front ends as well)

when it arrives i will shoot you guys some pics...

they are really helping us out here with this "orange" material, so i would really like to see some guys order them to assure skinz they didnt waste their time!!

got my ORANGE 09-up SKINZ float plate today..

WOW..its excellent, and the orange is really a nice color..its pretty bright, pics are the best, but all i can do with my cell (since my digital camera was stolen)

cant mount it for a while since the sled is still in an empty bulkhead state

hope this is to your liking and you guess order them up..Tammy really went on the limb making these in ORANGE as they wrent sure if they would sell a lot of them...so lets prover her wrong, lol..

again, they can make the float plate in orange for ANY year IQ...and i am sure the PRO-RMK as well...

Hey bud..I have not mounted the skid plate...I am no where near that point yet lol..maybe next month it will be..I will post the pic installed here for sure that day

TTT incase anyone is considering going with the orange skid plates for their Polaris sleds.

Skinz is now pumping them out in ORANGE NOW..for all polaris models
