Is there a way to read the flash codes from the sled?

During a ride yesterday, the check engine light start flashing. When I stopped and let the sled idle, the light stopped flashing. Then after riding for about 5 minutes the light started flashing again. I did not count the flashes. I there a way to read out the flash codes from the sled without riding it and trying to count flashes while riding? Thank you.

you have to idle the sled and count the flashes....

You can try and run it on a stand and get the code to come up, or take it to Polaris, they can hook up and see the stored codes I think... don't quote me on that.

Rode it around until the light came on. Counted 5 flashed. That is a exhaust temp probe fault. Checked the wires for the sensor and they look fine. I am running pre-mixed gas plus the oiler is set rich as I am breaking in a new top end. Leaving for steamboat on sat. Thinking the sensor is covered with oil from the pre-mix fuel and rich oiler. I might just bite the bullet and buy a new probe in case its not the oil. I dont want to get out there and have it run like ***. Thanks for the info guys.
