Perhaps your in an area that has a lot of cats in general? I doubt there would be an "above normal" amount for sale vs other brands other than if theres just more of them out there. , Where I live in town we have polaris and a/c, so That's what I see mostly. Then I recently rode at a place 2 hrs north, getting within ~1 hr of a dealer and all the sudden it was 90% doo. People were asking me how I liked my alpha all day long like they've never seen one lol. price wise I wouldn't worry too much on warranty if the price is good. For the most part there don't seem to be too many failures, I see more people posting in the polaris side of things about blown engines than we see happening here.....

Damn Dave, I retired from the Air Guard in Spokane. KC-135 Air Refueling Tankers. Now I am with the contract maintenance for the helicopter rescue squadron on Fairchild AFB. in Spokane.
If I am not mistaken there are few if any changes in the 2020 vs 2021 Alpha Ones?
A used low mile 2019 or 2020 for $10,500 -$11,000 or a new 2021 for $13,445.
So it would be roughly $2,500 to $3,000 more for a new sled with a one year warranty.
If one were to have an engine failure or if their single rail broke and it also maybe takes out the track, it may be worth it.
