Is the power claw really that great?

I love the a20. I love the super deep fluffy bottomless dry powder that we often see. Best track for that application. Very sub par in most all other snow conditions. I will be running one on my M-1000 (with the small traction tips screwed into the tabs on the front of the paddles). That is the sled I ride on the really deep and fresh days. All other days, I ride my M-8 141. I'm planning on running the pclaw on that sled due to the fact that I feel the AC challenger trenches too much in fresh snow, yet isn't stiff enough to really bite into more settled snow. IMO, the AC challenger is OK in most all conditions but not 'the best' in any. Guess I should mention that I rode the 09 demos last spring and thought the pclaw worked very well all around.

I wouldn't mind a dealer that had experience with this track chyme in. RACINSTATION, someone said you had a good deal of time on the track? Compared to a Camo Extreme?

I like how they can tell when it hasn't even been on the snow all year

track has been on the snow for a year already...several guys on here had one on their Nytro last winter...I rode the 09's in demo last year...

currently have the track in my garage...the tips of the paddles are very much like the attack20 and will compact he powder, while the fingers will grab non powder stuff...

it only bs untill i see a video of 2 of the same sleds and power claw going 50% higher in the deep stuff.and that will never happen:)

watched it live in West last year...same run same hill powerclaw climbed better...what got the cat reps mad, was the 8's were out climbing the 1000's

all the sleds still had EFI controllers on them (notoriously absent for the Expo though :) )

Ok someone clarify this for me. I thought there was only one camo challenger but theres an Arctic Cat specific challenger and a Camo specific challenger:confused:? What's the difference? My 06' M7's challenger is confused, it thinks its an A20. Half of the lug tips are folded over like the A20:D;).

If the powerclaw proves to be a worthy track, I might swap one in if I can get a good deal on one *wink wink nudge nudge Trackscanada*:p

best deal was from freeagent. dont know if she is doing it anymore but got mine at a very reasonable price from her. heck its already installed waiting for the snow. i can hear it saying take me to the snow. i want to outclimb everyone. :p:beer;:D

Best track? for what?

Let's see how many different uses.

#1 Hard pack trails-------finger track, Attack-20 trimmed ans screw-in studs.
#2 deep deep loose powder with 130-140 hp------ Attack-20, powder pos.
#3 deep powder , hill climbing 200hp or more ----Chal. Extreme 2.5''
#4 Good powder, but not all the time, sidehill on firm snow sometimes 140hp to 160 { Powder Claw}

#4 should say 2.5 with 1/4" cut off. It'll hook up so much it'll need to be tightened after every ride, better keep an eye on your chain! This works great for deep snow too, its still a 2.25. 200+ loves this!
