Is the lake wenatchee area really that busy during the holiday weekend?

Sorry I didn't post last night. Left the laptop and the camera at home. Anyway, went out for a ride out on the trinity trail again (was with the mother, she's into the whole trail riding thing). A good foot of new at lake level and substantially more higher up. Spent a good chunk of the afternoon getting people unstuck. Trails were in GREAT shape also. See you out there Monday dudes...

It's not horrible but, you've never seen a nice groomed trail go to crap so fast. Watch for road racers taking up the whole trail. I get ran off into the ditch at least once each year during the holidays. But yea, it's real busy. Lots of newbies.

If you want a good ride away from the crowds try Napotac Ridge that is a great ride--not groomed but everything is up there with some great hill climbs. I will have about ten sleds up there next weekend..MOL

Yamaha_Ryder, how was the pass? Hoping that come monday its only "traction tires advised" but we'll see. Hopefully I'll be up there monday with my bud. We'll be on my 2 sleds 04 summit and 05 M5. Flag us down if you see us. Well be parking on the fish lake road and heading up to sugarloaf.

Flakey, The pass was OK last night... Lot's of idiots out though. Supposed to get another foot by Monday. Probably won't be able to make it to Sugarloaf Monday either, have to drive to Leavenworth to pick up my sled.

Went up to Fish Lake today. Trails were in great shape still. Not that crowded. We headed upto Trinity. There was some deep areas to play with back there. The pass wasnt too bad. We went up early and came back around 5. It snowed on us most of the day. At the Snowpark we had about 4 inches on the truck. We will be back up there after Christmas. Were expecting it to be more crowded then.

Does anybody else ride on Christmas?
My wife and I are heading over to "Fish" on tuesday morning.
We do our Christmas on Christmas eve which gives us a day of the trails and play areas to ourselves...usually.
Kind of a tradition now. Started riding Christmas day a few years back at Baker and pretty much had it to ourselves.

If you see us at the Fish Lake snow park with a black Dodge P/U and a 3 place Pewter Interstate trailer stop by and say howdy!

I ride an '05 Blue and Yellow 800 REV and she rides an '07 Black and Blue 600 REV.
This will be the first ride for her on the REV and my first with Smitty's axle kit so both of us have some learning to do!

Never heard of Napotac Ridge. Where is that?

I think I came down that road many years ago but I don't remember power lines.

That would be about two miles down river rd. then hack a right up the lines clear over to coles corner.. Might be tough to leave a trailer there but you could leave it at the foot bridge and drive down the road. come on over and join us next weekend

Anyone know if there is enough snow to get to Ardenvoir from the snow park?

Got close to Ardenvoir yesterday from French Corral and there was enough. Now that it is snowing more, there should be plenty. Had about 2 feet around the area on top. Need about 2 feet more to get off trail to play. Hopefully this week will dump enough.

The fam and I will be riding Christmas day for sure! Not sure where or when though. I'll be riding a Yamaha of some sort and my little bro will be on a black Mountain Max with no decals and yellow handgaurds. I'm headed over now, LATER!

We rode there yesterday, 12-23, wow what a ride for this early in the year. We stayed down on Meadow Creek/SnoCone area. Found 2' of fresh powder everywhere. It was snowing an inch an hour when we left. That should make for an amazing New Years week. Happy Holidays
