Is the lake wenatchee area really that busy during the holiday weekend?

I've been over there a few times during the holidays in the past and I don't remember it ever being Horrible!
It's a huge area and as long as you don't plan on hanging out at "Snow Cone" all day then you'll find plenty of good riding.
Head up past the lookout and Mad River and you'll get some area to yourself!

It stays busy down low, go up to Sugar Loaf Lookout and beyond like Adrenaline was saying. Lots of cops on patrol over there also.

Well. If we go it'll be mon/tues. And it'll be a straight shot to sugarloaf and miners ridge. Should be a good ride with the dump were getting this week! Second choice my be crystal springs but I never been there before.

We're headin over on the 26th to spend a week there. So I keep watchin the snotel hoping for some more snow. It doesn't seem to be making it over on the other side.

:beer;

The snotel should be going crazy today, been getting dumped on since last night. Between 3 and seven this morning we got about three inches in downtown wenatchee, so there should be more in the hills which will be good cause we need it. I'll know more on what the surrounding mountains got later today after a snow day trail ride. :D:D

My family has a place over there and we're usually there for the Holidays. It's busy, but as long as you stay away from the popular area's (snowcone, trinity etc..) you're fine. Drop down the backside of the Sugarloaf lookout and play all day. We definitely need some more snow over there to really get off the trails though. Found 2 logs and a couple stumps Sunday.

Yamaryder where'd you ride this last weekend? Any bare spots still or is the base setting up nicely where you were? Had some friends who said they had a good trail ride around white river and there weren't many bare spots left.

Well according to the snotel its looking like the area has doubled its snow depth in the past 7 days so hopefully things should be getting better up there. I'll be up there either saturday or sunday this weekend checking it out :D

My buddy wanted to check out his brothers new nitro and we headed up to Trinity for the first time ever. We didn't know where to go, but there was snow, and lots of it.

Takes awhile to get up there, and we didn't find anything to play in, but I don't know the area. But there is snow...

I believe you have to have money to go to Trinity now. As far as I have heard, its fenced off and privately owned. A long ride to nowhere if you dont have a key. A couple of us may head over to Sugarloaf on Saturday. If we do, we will bring a camera.
