Is it worth the money for a sled lift for repairs?

Absolutely! And when you own a Polaris it will be on the stand frequently..
The other plus side is having them to change the oil and work on your bike and quads, plus a extra work bench when empty. Seriously one of better shop investments I've made.

If you can afford it and have the space, a 2 post car lift is the best, I use it for working on my sleds all the time, from maintenance to track changes to tunnel replacements, it works great. And you can use it for vehicles as well.

I believe that calls for a " yOU sUCK" Nice lift though, and really those are not that expensive if you have the room for one.

To the OP I have a lift think it was $225 , I have only used it 3 or 4 times in the 10 tears I have had it, not always easy for me to get to in my crowded garage. It is nice for routine work on the sled saves your back. When I bought mine had the option for wheels or not I went with no wheels thinking for the extra $75 I would put them on myself. Just pony up for the wheels you may never get around to finding low profiles wheels that work. It is nice to have but truthfully don't think I would get another.

If you are handy with a welder over on TY forum a guy posted shop drawings with a parts list and can make your own. I made my own and had my brother weld it up for me. PM your email and i can send you the plan. unfortunately when its all said and done you spend about as much as one cost that is already built

OK
Its been a LONG TIME since I was JEALOUS!!!
Thats got to be soooo sweet!!

IF, you have the room to dedicated to it ABSOLUTELY get one!!! I prefer the solid table lift. I work on all kinds of stuff on it. And when not in use it works great as a work bench for laying out projects. It also on more times held the pizza and beer the boys bring over.

Once you have one you will never want to be with out it.

Sled lift. Absolutely get one. Don't leave home without it.strongly recommend getting one with wheels.

I have two in my shop and one in my enclosed trailer.
I store my sleds over the summer on them.
I can move them around the shop easy and don't ever worry about flattening my paddles on my track.

I've got the tube style one I built myself.

Google "sled lift plans" It is the first one that shows up. Love rolling around on my chair or standing up at a comfortable level to work on them.

One tip -- throw away the handle on the jack and make an adapter for a drill not an impact. The impact will strip out the jack..... Ask me how I know....
